Rosehip oil is obtained from the seeds of thefull-ripened fruit of the wil Rosa canina bush. Rosa canina is anundomesticated member of the Rosacea family, which contains all othertypes of roses. It is grown wildly through the temperate zone of theearth, including Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. Nature's ShieldRosehip oil is certified organic and sustainable and is cold-pressextracted, for preservation of its natural qualities.


Rosehipoil is most prized for its application to signs of ageing skin -wrinkles, sun damage, dryness etc. In studies, it has been shown usefulfor wrinkles, scars and burns, stretch marks, pigmentation, drysensitive skin, sun damage, acne and acne scarring.
