Jojoba oil is obtained from the seed of the Simmondsia chinensis plant, a shrub native to North American desert climes - southern Arizona, southern California, and northwestern Mexico. The jojoba seed is comprised of approximately 50% oil, by weight, and has abundant healing properties. Nature's Shield jojoba oil is certified organic and sustainable and is cold-press extracted for preservation of its natural qualities.


  • Jojobais unique amongst oils in that it is not in fact an oil, but a liquidwax. This makes it uniquely compatible with the skin's own sebumproduction and even more useful as the skin ages and sebum productionnaturally decreases.
  • Jojoba has antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties, thus can be useful in any bacteria or fungi- related skin issues.
  • Highin antioxidants, vitamins A, D and E, it is protective againstoxidative stresses such as sun exposure, poor air quality and ageingprocesses.
  • May be used on skin, hair or cuticles as a conditioning treatment - nourishing and protecting tissue.
