With a pleasant, fresh, herbaceous scent, Basil essential opil improves clear thinking and has energising effects on the body and mind. Basil is a great essential oil to help increase concentration and focus. It is also known to help with respiratory issues.

HOW TO USE

Diffuser:
Add 6-8 drops to your diffuser.

Massage:
Use a 2.5% dilution; 50 drops per 100m / 3.38fl.oz carrier oil.

Bath:
Add 2 to 3 drops, in a dispersant such as oil, to the bath.

Shower:
Add 2-3 drops to the corner of the shower.

Topically:
Mix 1 drop with 5ml / 0.17fl.oz carrier oil and apply to desired area.

Compress:
To a bowl of water, add 2 drops of essential oil. Agitate a face washer in the water, wring out excess moisture and apply washer to the affected area. Repeat two or three times as the compress cools down or warms up.

Steam Treatment:
For respiratory complaints, add 2 drops of essential oil to a bowl of steaming hot water. Caution due to risk of burns or scalding.

Blends well with:
Basil, German & Roman Chamomile, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Grapefruit, Juniper, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Petitgrain, Palamarosa, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang.
